Unique Clinic experience at UNCG

Janelle Breneman and staff will be hosting their final fall clinic on October 18th. “Practice Like a Spartan” is an experience clinic geared toward players who want to live a day in the life of a Division I softball player.

You will be put through a day’s practice that will cover position specific instruction (pitching and catching included) as well as team defense.

You will also experience a full offensive workout that will drill proper hitting mechanics. Numbers for each clinic will be limited to give you are realistic experience of a Division I athlete. Sign up now to see if you have what it takes to be a Spartan!

We just had another great camp in Orlando, Fl this past weekend are extremely excited for our Winter camp in South Carolina. Please help get this email out to any players you feel would be interested in our December 20th College Exposure Camp. We have an amazing staff put together, so I want to make sure our kids looking for this opportunity in the Carolinas are aware. Today is the last day to register at the discounted price of $175. Attention 8u and 10u coaches!

My name is Myka Wright Cygielman and I am the head coach of the 14u Charlotte Magic. In just two short seasons our team has become one of the top "A" level programs in the Carolinas - but we are focused on much more than our players' skills on the softball field. One of the things stress is leadership development and communication in young women. Because of this, I would like to find an 8u or 10u team that would be interested in attending a practice which would function as camp run by my players (and supervised by me, a former collegiate coach and player). These camps help my girls refine their leadership and communication skills while mentoring other players. We have done activities like this in the past within our organization and they have been very successful both for the younger players as well as my girls. Unfortunately, the Magic no longer has a 12u team to work with.
