I know it's early but any thoughts or predictions on the CPC this year???
I know Reagan, RJR, and West Forsyth all have a lot of returners back. ND lost some big sticks but have Roberson back and they are always at the top. From what I know, any of those 4 could win it this year. Tabor lost their big arm on the bump and so did Davie. Davie lost a lot up the middle too. Parkland will also be in the CPC this year. West has Bates and Holden back, ND has Roberson, RJR has Welch, and Reagan has the Hartle kid. I think those kids could beat any team on any given night. Will be interesting to see how the Titans respond without Pope this year. Anyone else's thoughts or predictions?

I think that the three teams you mentioned will be at the top and as you said when Robertson pitches ND will be tough. I would give the nod to West because of their depth.

Coach Pope was terrific and had a very good knack for adjusting his lineup about 6 or 7 games into the season and then riding that change to a lot of wins. Coach Bullard has been with this group of seniors for 4 years, first as the JV Head Coach for 2 years and then last year as Coach Pope's assistant. He has their respect and I think will do just fine this year.

I think last year that West over achieved a bit with a very young team. It will be interesting to see how they do as one of the early favorites. Looking forward to the season

West and Reagan are both deep. East Forsyth plays them both early and it should be a good test for all 3 teams to see where they stand. I know some basics about RJR but not sure how deep they are.

West became a little less deep this week as P/1B Nick Boyles broke his ankle playing basketball and will be out 6-8 weeks.
