We are moving our tryout day to Saturday, August 29th at 9am at Penske Fields in Mooresville, NC. We are looking to add a 2016 or 2017 pitcher along with several other positions. Our preference is to fill all positions with 2016 or 2017 HS graduating year players. College committed players are welcome and will be a good fit with our existing committed players. Lady Lightning East Open Tryouts! 2019/2020 Graduates!

The Lady Lightning East, a 2019/2020 team is a Regional Team, part of the National Lady Lightning Gold Showcase Organization. Our goal is to develop talented young ladies in preparation for our National Program. The Lady Lightning Organization consistently, year in and year out, is one of the TOP showcase organizations in the country, placing girls every year in top Division 1 schools. All of our girls have a strong desire to play at the collegiate level.

Our team goal is to play our age bracket in National Qualifiers, National Championships and World Series tournaments. Outside of those tournaments we will be playing a 16U College Showcase schedule. By doing that, the girls will still have the spirit of competing to win Championships as well as Showcasing their talent at the many college exposure tournaments. We plan to play in 4-6 tournaments in the Fall Season. At least two, if not three of those tournaments will by 16U Showcase events.

We are having Open Tryouts on Saturday, August 22nd at 3pm. All positions will be considered. Each girl must have travel experience, have the desire to play at the National and collegiate level, and be willing to travel. All girls will be expected to excel in school as well as on the ball field. Report cards will be checked to ensure that the girls are putting their studies first. We also expect our girls (team) to give back to their community by volunteering for various service opportunities.

Charlotte Starz Futures Showcase Team Open Tryouts!
The Charlotte Starz Futures Showcase Team, one of the premier travel teams in North Carolina, will be holding open tryouts at the following location and dates:

Monday August 10th – 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday August 22nd – 10:30-12:30pm

We are looking for a strong “A” bracket Pitcher to round out a strong pitching staff and solid defense. Utility players are highly encouraged to tryout. The ability to play multiple positions is a huge plus. Consistent bats are a must.

Our team primarily consists of 2018 and 2019 graduates. Very strong 2020’s are also encouraged to tryout. All players must share the common goal of playing softball at the Collegiate Level. High level showcase events are a must for talented athletes that have that desire.

The team is considered one of the premier programs in the state. We are part of an organization with teams in all age groups, represented in several regions of the State of NC. The current Charlotte Starz Futures team has been invited/played in the best showcase tournaments in the southeast including the Atlanta Legacy, (Atlanta, GA.); Scenic City (Chattanooga, TN), Elite Showcase (Marietta, GA), Softball Factory Under Armour Showcase (Glen Allen, Va.), as well as several 16U Carolina Cardinals showcase events. The Starz have a tradition of outstanding performance and instruction. We will continue to play showcase Fastpitch in the fall of 2015, having entered 6 events already.

Sun Devil Tryouts

Just a reminder about Sun Devil Tryouts tomorrow night, August 18 at South Iredell for the Sun Devils Elite.

 

NC Challengers 16U National Team Tryouts

The NC Challengers will hold tryouts for three remaining spots on their 16U NATIONAL team on Sunday, August 23 at 1:00pm at Meredith College (3800 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC)

Positions/areas of need are: middle infielders, outfielders, and slappers (any position).

The National Program’s purpose is to develop young athletes into prepared collegiate prospects. We are teaching and instructing our players how to compete, and be successful at a highest level of softball. We compete in nationally recognized tournaments & showcases. Our focus is to provide the best training and opportunities to be seen by college coaching staffs. Carolina Cardinals 16U Tryouts

The Carolina Cardinals Organization has a long history of excellence in both ASA tournament and showcase play. The Cardinals also take pride in assisting their players in reaching their softball goals. With this in mind, the organization is adding a 16U team comprised of girls who want to compete at a high level and who will graduate high school in 2018 or 2019.
The team will be coached by Thomas and Katie Vick. Thomas has 16 years experience in travel ball and has been on the coaching staff at North Davidson HS for 12 years. He is a 3.5 star master coach with the National Coaches College thru the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Katie was a member of North Davidson's 2010 National Championship team and was a NFCA All American that year.
Tryouts will be held August 22nd and August 29th from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Carolina Angels 12u tryouts

The Carolina Angels 12u will be holding tryouts. We are looking for 1-2 experienced travel ball players with great attitudes. Tryouts will be held at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC on the following dates:

Sunday, August 23rd from 2:00-4:00
Monday, August 24th from 6:00-8:00

Sun Devil Tryouts

The Sun Devil tryouts for tonight, 8/18, at South Iredell High School has been postponed due to weather.

The 18u Sun Devils Elite team will be holding tryouts on Saturday, August 22 at 2:30pm at South Iredell High School.

The 18u Sun Devils are looking for a "A" Pitcher looking for a lot of mound time and utility players who can play the outfield and have speed.

Carolina Elite tryout August 22

Carolina Elite TRY-OUTS August 22nd​

Regarded as one of the top organizations in the country, the Carolina Elite has sent over 90% of their players to D1 colleges including SEC, ACC, & Big 10 conferences as well as others. We also have 100% of players receiving offers although some chose different schools for academic reasons.

Carolina Elite receive invitations to top Showcase/ Exposure tournaments in the country at the 14u/16u/18u levels, these teams are required to play in qualifiers in their own age group with PGF & ASA.

This team is coached by former college players with one being a former D1 Florida Gator and Team USA Gold medalist. There are no parents coaching this team and playing time is earned. See coaches link below for Bios.

Team Worth™ NC is looking for an athletic SS/3B or Outfielder to complete our 18u Showcase roster. We are primarily looking for a 2017 or 2018 graduating candidate.

As a factory sponsored team, Team Worth™ NC provides unique product and playing opportunities for our players based on our partnership with Worth™ Sports. Our Fall 2015 schedule includes high-level showcase events throughout the Southeast along with on-campus, college playing exposure (our complete schedule can be found on our website). Our current roster consists of mature young ladies that have the talent, desire, and work ethic to perform at the next level.
