    Yes I agree we need more local fields to attract "tournaments" but 25 fields? What about traffic, parking, concessions and restrooms, I'd hate to be last in those lines. Is this gonna be 1 complex?

    Great News

    This is what this area needs and also the kids around the area. They all have dreams of playing in Cooperstown and this will just be one step away.

    Hope they got a suger daddy to fund this

    Have been involved looking at these things and I would be interested in their financials to make this thing work. Time required to ammortize the construction costs as well as operating costs for a limited use time frame annually. About the only way to make this work is for a municipal agency to take this own who has a sugar daddy called "tax payer" or have someone like Braves to provide initial and annual funding.

    Our baseball league has taken over "The Factory" 6 field complex and are seeing what it is like to take on this type of venture.

    Anyway, will be great to see a complex like this built in NC

    Although I really don't have any info as of today, I know that the family's plan for it will be connected with DreamsPark in Cooperstown. I know this for sure, the family is very savvy business wise and wouldn't dare get into this without minimal risks.

    If they say they can get 100+ teams every week to participate, I believe they will. My guess it will be conditional to participate in Cooperstown. But that is my opinion, not theirs.

    If I get any information, I'll be sure to pass it along. Maybe I can do an interview.
