    Catholic should have a good year with #1 and #2 junior pitchers Starcevic and Van Popering who shared the team MVP titles as sophs and earned all conference as sophs. Also returning is starting catcher soph Wes Skidmore with his power hitting. Senior Spence is returning to third base for his fourth year as a starter and Becker will be returning at second base.

    This team has a lot of experience while still young, combined with their off season work they should be a contender for the conference title.
