2nd MegaConference Fishing Tournament......

NCBBALLFAN, we've already had our 1st Annual Megaconference Fishing Tournament a month ago, but with all the rain in the forecast,,, we might as well start our 2nd fishing tournament of the season... Will you keep our running totals?

I just want to remind folks that all fish must be caught within "fair territory", and also that fish caught in the infield will count "double" because these fish were brave enough to come in so close... There were some other rules, but the umpires let you slide on most of 'em. In fact I know for a FACT that those West Rowan boys were NOT catching bass the last time, they were clearly catching carp on their muddy infield!!! (You gotta watch that crowd)...

Anyway, anyone interested in participating in this tournament, just sign up below and signify your team...

 

I will be the official score keeper for the tournament, seeing that North Meck's field is on a "grassy Knoll" (hmmmm - shades of Dallas).... we don't get much except for minnows there.

 

Wuffie ... you get 100 points on the field for initiating the tournament ...... ya'll better get busy, I'm have my own unusual scoring system.

OBTW: If any team is caught using "corn dogs" as bait, the usual penalties will apply.

(Whistle Blows)...NC..I call a foul on Wuffie...he's counting catfish...now I know them boys from Kannapolis enjoy their farm raised catfish..but those they catch from the fields ain't edible...so they can't count to their totals....and don't count those exotic fish that Intimidator catches...he brings those from his Fieldcrest Cannon and stocks them at A.L Brown


Now, South Meck should jump into an early lead with a seven-canner...and I took pictures before they eat it this time.

 

That is very very impressive Braves ... it would be more impressive if it were 7 cans of Foster's Lager ..........

....but then you wouldn't have been able to fish (or even find the boat).

Wuffie ... 50 points are deducted on the protest ....
75 points are awarded for serving catfish to the out-of-towners

Braves ... 140 points are awarded for the catch ... 20 for each can ... use Foster's next time, it's 80 points per can.

 

I have this pic of Gonzo fishing with Braves in their younger days .... either the fish were bigger back then, or at least the fish stories were........

And to think, this came out of Steele Creek....

 

No, you have me mixed up with Intimidator. That's a GROUPER...a salt water fish. Intimidator will swear he caught that on the field.....NC, you gotta watch them boys from Kannapolis..they're sneaky

Damn!!! We let the West Rowan boys count carp the last time,,,, whats wrong with CATFISH??? You're just trying to get my buddy IntimidatorCoach to quit fishing long enough for others to catch up!!!
