    WP: Robbie Penny (10-2) 7 innings, 27 batters, 1 hit, 2 reached on errors, 4 walks, 10 k's, 0 runs
    LP: Jonathan Locklear, 6 innings, 22 batters, 5 hits, 1 HB, 3 runs

    Robbie pitched a one hitter, he had runners in scoring position in four innings but he was able to pitch out of each inning without giving up a run. Jonathan Locklear pitched an outstanding game. He gave up three runs in the bottom of 6th inning with two outs. He hit the first batter, then Zack Stanley moved him over to 2nd with a sac butt. Runner was moved to 3rd on attempted bunt for a 1-3 2nd out. Robbie Penny hit a single backside to push across the first run of the game. Then Michael Wright hit a line drive 2 run bomb backside into the football stadium to make the score 3-0.

    Northern Nash advances

    A great pitchers duel between Zach Woodley and Carson McClean tonight as Northern Nash shutout Union Pines 3-0.

    McClean allowed only 2 hits while Woodley allowed 4 hits BUT the Knights hits were a 2 run homer by Jason Gay (11th) and a solo shot by Woodley (3rd).

    Northern will now host Southern Alamance on Friday.
