    Yes, Duncan Everett is coming to Barton in the fall & we're happy about that here in Wilson. For the game, Everett, Ben Schmucker, & Jackson Bellenkes, all had homers, with Keaton Haack & Adam Swim adding doubles. Everett was 2-4, & now has a record of 8-4 on th hill.

    Kell vs Glenn

    I hope they get to play tonight. I know the field is ready if it doesnt rain anymore. I live close by and yesterday there was water standing at 1pm so im sure it is still wet. Should be a good game I know Glenn has had a good year and I have read a lot about Kell and I know they are good to.Should be a good game to watch!

    I know I speak for alot of fans, coaches, players, and news reporters when I say "Good luck" against NE Guilford. Us "Downeast" folks would rather not make that 2 to 3 hour drive to McLeansville for the Eastern Finals. Northeast Guilford is 25-1, & hardly anyone is talking about em.

    Can't swear this is a final, but was told North Davidson defeated Butler 4-1.

    Adrey Kell Vs Glenn

    Glenn strugled against Thorton who hit his spots relly good all night. I think he threw 2 balls in the dirt all night. He got ahead of Glenn hitters and I thought they got themselves out. Kell came out swinging and hit the ball hard all night. The 3 hitter pounded the ball. Kell had 12 hits I think and Glenn had 3. I would say Trent had double digit strike outs for the night. He struck out the side in the 7th so he still had some juice left. I dont think the first 4 hitters got on base for Glenn. Congrats to Kell and if they hit the ball like they did tonight they will be hard to beat.
