    South Caldwell 9 Mt. Tabor 0

    Cody Penny goes the distance for South striking out 9. Parker Thomas started the game for Mt. Tabor and was taken out in the 4th inning after falling behind 6-0. Cody Prestwood for South hit a 3 run shot off Matt Batts who relieved Thomas and pitched the remainder of the game.

    Team ERA for South going into tonight's game was 0.63 and will improve even more after tonight. South is currently ranked #5 in the nation in both the Baseball America and USA Today polls.

    Sanderson vs Durham Jordan

    Sanderson will play Jordan, Friday at Sanderson (Exchange Park). Jordan defeated W. Johnson tonight 4-1.

    Ardrey Kell Game - Funny

    Went and watched AK game tonight and out of 8 calls the field umpire made he clearly missed 6 !!! Got to be very funny !!
    AK vs NM will be a great game Friday - get their early to miss the traffic !

    Justin Roland earns the win after giving up 2 runs in the first inning. The Piedmont pitchers had trouble throwing strikes all night. East exploded late in the game to break it open.

    You probably could. There is something really weird and exciting going on in Lumberton. No way our team of midgets beats that team full of college bound studs. But that is what happened. Fuquay gave us a couple runs early and soph Travis Mullis threw the game of his life in the 3-2 win. Once again, all the bounces went our way (and a few of the ball/strike calls as well). A couple flairs fall, we play error free ball, and presto, another win.
    The Brandt kid for FV hit an absolute PEAROD out of our big park. Impressive to say the least, but other than that, Mullis was in control with a steady diet of curves and changes.
    Next up winner of Rose and Millbrook in Lumberton.

    The Devils choke up an early 7-2 lead but John Crucetti drives in Billy Nantz in the home half of the ninth to keep the Mooresville Blue Devils alive! Congrats to the Falcons on a good season, well done.
