    Soooo, We meet again!

    For the third year in a row, Northern Nash takes on Southern Alamance, & West Brunswick tangles with D.H. Conley in the 3A Eastern Playoffs.

    2007: 3rd round: Northern Nash 9 Southern Alamance 0
    2008: 1st round: Northern Nash 4 Southern Alamance 2
    2009: 2nd round: ?


    2007: 2nd round: West Brunswick 2 D.H. Conley 0
    2008: 3rd round: D.H. Conley 2 West Brunswick 1
    2009: 2nd round: ?

    Whoever wins these two games tomorrow night will be in the thick of the state championship chase, as always.:clapclap:

    Last night---

    Eastern Wayne started freshman Zack Mozingo in their 2nd round match-up with West Carteret. Mozingo went 3 innings, gave up 3 runs (2 earned) walked 2, & had 3 k's. John Wooten pitched the last 4 innings, giving up 1 run, no walks, & striking out 4.

    This saves #1 Josh Frederick for the anticipated Friday night match-up with Rocky Mount. I imagine Benton Moss will pitch tonight for Rocky Mount against South Central. It's hard to label Moss a #2 pitcher. He would be a #1 on most teams.

    If Rocky Mount wins tonight, it will set up a Hobbs Johnson vs. Josh Frederick showdown friday night @ Eastern Wayne.
