    I think Northwest's field does not drain well and with the rains Monday and Tuesday night into Wednesday morning it could not be dried up in time.

    No conspiracy, no NW simply has serious drainage problems in leftfield, always has. The slightest bit of rain can take awhile to drain. This week has been their worst nightmare with all the rain we've gotten since Sunday. Ive emptied at least 8 inches of rain out of my rain guages just between Sunday and Tuesday night.

    Carson vs. Northwest Cabarrus will be played at NW tonight but game time has been moved to 6pm.

    Funny story why NW left field has all the drainage problems that it does. Back in the day left field was used as a parking lot for extra/overflow football game parking. The ground level is just slightly lower in left because of the years of it being a "parking lot". So when it rains the water just stays out there.
