Thanks for the score. Any details? Winning/Losing pitchers? Leading hitters? Exciting finish? If unknown, thanks again for the score.

:trophy: With the score tied at 3 all, in the top of the 8th, lead off hitter for the Forbush Falcons, Corey Norman trippled to right field. The next batter struck out and West Henderson loaded the bases by intentionally walking batters 4 & 5. With The pitcher preparing to pitch, Norman takes of as if his jersey was on fire causing the pitcher to balk, game over! These two teams were pretty evenly matched and West lived up to their reputation and can mash! Norman started on the mound giving up two earned runs (Both homers) and struck out 6 before being relieved in the 5th by lefty Ryan Allred who would give up one homer and striking out five, earning the win! Matthew Pruit started for the West Henderson Falcons pitching 6-innings and giving up 3 earned runs before being relieved in the 7th by John Smith who allowed 1-hit, 1 earned run and walking 1. John Smith took the Loss. West Henderson was a class act that played a great game, but the Forbush Falcons earned control of the skies tonight. GO BUSH!

Braves, I told you that you should have come to Forbush!

    S. Alamance 5 S. Granville 2

Southern Alamance defeated South Granville 5-2. Well played game by both teams I dont remember any errors on either side. S. Alamance had 8 hits and South Granville 6. May was 2-4 with a dbl and Luck was 2-4 but no risp on all four hits. Sapelt was 2-3 for S. Alamance which did deliver risp hits. Maynard went the distance for SG Im sorry but I didnt get the name of the starting pitcher for SA but Rogers came in and pitched the 6th and 7th for SA. SA got key hits from the bottom of the order and SG was 1-9 in the 5-9 spots.

Im very proud of our team this year which won 20 games for the fourth year in row. We only loose 2 seniors and 1 starter , hopefully we can make another good run next season. Good luck to all the teams that won tonight and congrats to those that made it this far.

Great season, Coach..with a lot of great memories. As you said, you have a very young team, so the future looks very bright :satana:
