Correction: Smith took the loss for West Henderson, my apologies to Matthew Pruitt for my eroneous entry. Again I would like to say what a great ball game this was. The West Henderson coaching staff, players and fans were a class act. The Forbush Falcons will play West Lincoln in the best-of-3 beginning on Thursday night at home. GO BUSH!

    Forbush 4, West Henderson 3 (8 innings)

    WH 0-1-0-1-0-0-1-0 3-10-2
    FB 1-0-0-0-0-2-0-1 4-5-1

    WP Ryan Allred, 4in, 1 run, 1 er, 2 hits, 5 k's, 1 bb
    LP John Smith, 1.1 in, 1 run, 1 er, 1 hit, 1k, 3 bb

    For Forbush:
    Cory Norman 2/4, double, triple
    Kolby Epley 1/4, double
    Brian Renegar 1/3
    Daniel Davis 1/3

    For WH:
    Josh Moore 2/4
    Jerry Brinkley 1/4, HR
    Matthew Pruitt 1/3 HR
    Seth Grant 2/4 HR
    Casey Allison 2/4
    John Smith 1/3
    James Johnson 1/3

WH finishes the season at 24-3
Forbush moves on in the playoffs at 25-3

WH this year has set new state records for doubles with 80 and team BA at .432. 7 starters return next year for WH including all pitching.

What a baseball game vs Forbush. Neither team gave up and some very good pitching and defensive plays kept the game close. Cory Norman for Forbush is a complete player.
