    South Point wins its third one run game of the playoffs and sets up a match-up with East Rowan for the 3A West Crown.

    Mooresville's Matt Markowski 1 run homer of Roland, Mooresville's Dylan West 3 run home in top 6th off Shive. Aubrey Meadows absolutely pitched the game of a lifetime tonight.

    My heart breaks for Mooresville players, coaches and fans but mainly for the YOUNG MEN and their coaches.

    To the Blue Devil players you are my HEROES! I love those young men!

    mooresville is a classy group of people and a great baseball team. i really feel for them. sounds like they put up a heck of an effort tonight and they have nothing to hang their heads about.

    Absolutely nothing to hang your head about. Mooresville played a great game and Meadows pitched unbelievable getting out of lots of jams when East had runners on. I have been on the other side when you lose a game you think you have won. It stinks right now but Mooresville had a great season and they have a lot of good young players. It was great seeing two future Charlotte 49ers (Roland and Meadows) going at it with both players pitching. Just a great game tonight at Staton Field with a great crowd.
