I have not researched how the high school athletic association keeps records but I have a question. Will all pitching records start over this year at 43' such as strike outs and ERA? Will they have an asterisk beside them or will they just stay as they are?

I would hope that the TB.sanctions start 43 feet at 14u. as most of these girls are about to enter HS and it seems the most logical age bracket for making the the change. MS ball needs to stay at 40 ft for sure.
We moved all the pitching plates, field and pens, at Butler yesterday so we're ready but I just know that at the beginning of HS ball there will be schools that will be moving them just before the first game, after the visiting coach says something about it. :twocents:

we're doing ours saturday and filling in the old rubber pit with some fresh clay. dont want a soft spot to form where the old rubber used to lay.

bet we have a few of those in our conference also. need to start toting the tape measure again.
