43ft for high school coming?

    When they are talking about changing to 43' this season that is 2009-10; when they say 43' will be mandatory next season, they are talking about 2010-11.

    Seniors are 2010, for example.

    It's official

    43ft is in for the 2010 season.........................It is has been left up to the ind. state by the fed whether or not they want to implement the 43ft this coming year but nation wide it will go into effect in 2011.............but nc has approved to go 43ft this coming season..............

    Great i cant wait to see how this changes things this year..hopefully for the better for my home team and all of softball.

    This will improve the quality of NC High School Softball IMO. Good Call NCHSAA!!

    NCHSSA has adopted the 43' distance , this year: 2009/10. Announced yesterday at the clinic in Greensboro

    three of the coaches i know have come back to me with the same story from their meeting this year. the nchsaa recommended that everyone download the paper that they have on moving the rubber back 3'...........it was 25 pages long!!!


    still wonder what happens to all the money they make???

    they could have spent the money better buyin' each coach a ruler!
