how's the new conference looking this year in basketball ?

 

Well for us SC we did win our first game last night. Not really strong again this year but never are at basketball, everyone getting ready for baseball here. But the ones we have will play hard and could suprise a few teams. Probablly the teams to beat will be Hibriten and Hickory. I know Hibriten is still a little behind everyone as they just got the majority of their team this week because they were still playing football and the lipford kid is going to be out with an injury till after christmas is what I've heard. I think when they get going in conference they will be hard to handle. don't think ford or ST. are super strong this year and haven't heard anything about Wat.

 

I seen the records of everyone but I don't know if the teams they played are good or not. Hibriten is 0-2 but like you said they're still getting football guys back. AC is 4-0 on the year. They beat a very athletic Davie team last night pretty handily. They're not going to scare you with athleticism or wow you. But Coach Wills has that team prepared week in and week out. I agree that Hickory is the favorite, with Hibriten behind them but there are always going to be upsets.
