No...this is not true. As always, the hearsay business is always more interesting.

Dont give the guy such a hard time, everyone on here knows the west is stronger year in and year out, maybe he just has an opinion based on a smaller area. as far as the Alex Wood situation he is just asking about what he has been hearing.

    Power

I think the power still lies in the west. you just have some very strong areas of talent in the larger eastern cities. Wilmington,Greenville, Raleigh. This makes for a more stacked bracket in the west but in some cases a stronger team representing the east. Sanderson is really bringing the respect back to Raleigh baseball Broughton has beaten sanderson 5 out of the last six times they have met yet that one win is when it counts in the state playoffs. Sanderson really turns it on come tournament time. look for Max Gagnon being the X-factor for the spartans on the mound.

A nerve? No, but to question a coach's integrity based on a "news source" is inflammatory. The only way one can "get to the bottom of it" is to ask the coach involved. I'll be glad to give you his phone number for you to call. I'm sure he would be glad to discuss it with you.

To be honest, this is not a good site to gather this type of information. I'm sure others can direct you to the one's that are. However, if you are wanting information from HS and college coaches, recruiters, MLB scouts, ex-ML players, Showcase organizers, newspaper sports writers, players and their families...this is the place.

I agree 100%. It's exciting to see a Raleigh team in the Championship this year. Sanderson proved to everybody they deserve to be there.
