    Game 2

    Sanderson fought back and made it a one run game and felt the momentum shift headed to the top of the seventh, down 6-5. AK slapped 3 more runs to go up 9-5. Too big of a hill to climb up.

    Now we go to game 2 at 2:00 tomorrow. Sanderson has been here before and they must win 2 games in row. You still need to win 2 games to be declared the winner.

    Great job by AK.

    Lets go get them Spartans.

    Great game AK

    What a great moment for Alex hitting the double in the 7th inning and cracking his bat almost in half! Despite no being able to pitch in this series and playing with a serious elbow injury it was nice to see him being a big part of this team as he's been all year. Ak once again showed its fight and that if you don't knock em out they will keep fighting and find a way to pull away. Should be interesting to see Butler today, if he can settle down into the third or later then he'll be tough. Hal certainly had a game plan to manufacture a run at every opportunity, nice job executing the safety squeeze early in the game. I think AK will score early and often today and we'll see if Sanderson can keep up. One down, one to go! Good luck AK.

    Sanderson Is Tough

    Sanderson lost the first game in the East to Greenville Rose and came back to win 2 in a row to win the East Championship.

    And they got to sleep in their own beds last night in Raleigh....

    They are very talented and tough. Should be quite a battle today.
