    is going to be tough to beat. They are deep in pitching and have a variety of looks they can throw at a team. They are very good at the plate with 1-9 capable of beating you on a given day. And they are solid on defense. Also they are a very very deep experienced team. And they have an outstanding coaching staff.

    I know AK is a very good team. But my pick is G-Rose.

    You're the same guy who picked South Caldwell over Providence and North Davidson over Ardrey Kell.

    Seeing your pick has given me added confidence in AK! Wasn't Kell your (Impact) preseason #1? Why change horses now? Go Kell!

    AK #2 / Rose #7

    That was the pre season Impact poll voted on by the HS coaches that vote in the poll.

    I went out on a limb and picked ND and SC. I guess I should have been a little more conservative in my picks.

    I am glad I have given you some confidence AGYK. But I dont think you needed it. I would be willing to bet AK and Rose are both very confident teams heading into the state finals.

    Catcher 10 they are both very good teams and proved they are the best 2 teams. It should be a great series.

    Vegas Oddsmakers install Rose as Favorite

    Vegas has the odds strongly in favor of Greenville Rose.
    Seems they have some very strong pitching, hitting and fielding...

    Rose will be an veryyy tough team to beat. They carry a roster of about 30 and every single one of those boys cant put the ball out of the ball park. I went to watch them take BP during the Sanderson series and its something else...
    These boys are coached very well and play hard nose baseball. They have great depth in the pitching staff and anyone off the bench will swing it.

    Ill tell you right now, NONE of these Rose players are afraid to swing!! Its something about that Greenville baseball blood...They are born to play under that Rose tradition..

    the other will lose!:woohoo:You have to give the nod to Rose for tradition and experience! However, I am leaning toward AK due to the level and quality of talent they play and face year in and year out! I ve been there I ve seen it and I attended a New Bern Rose game earlier this year...w/o even looking at AK but coaching in the SW4A two years again i think AK will pull this one out congrats Bagmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan:butt:ahead of time!
