Due to wet conditions in Roxboro, the game was postponed until Tuesday @ 4:30.

Playoff information is due to the NCHSAA Wednesday morning, so this allows the powers that be to determine seedings and break any ties...

This conference is a mess as far as the state playoff seeding is concerned.

Using the state playoff tournament seeding rules, the only ties decided would be a tie between Apex and Athens Drive (Apex is higher
seed), and a 3 way tie between Apex, Fuquay Varina, and Athens Drive (again Apex is the highest seed). All other ties would be
decided by a playoff game - which can't happen at this late date - or a coin flip (which is the only option now).

I know that a Green Hope and Middle Creek tie will be decided by using the conference tournament seeding rule (where if the head to head
record doesn't decide it, then you compare records against opponents in the conference starting at the top and working down). Even using
this, it still looks to be coin flip if these teams tie. If tied, Green Hope is the higher seed if Cary finishes higher than Panther Creek,
and obviously Middle Creek is the higher seed if the reverse is true, otherwise a coin flip.

I don't know if this same rule is being applied to Apex, Fuquay Varina, and Athens Drive. If it is, then Apex is higher than Fuquay Varina,
Athens Drive is higher than Fuquay Varina, and Apex beats out Athens Drive on the normal head to head rule.

So assuming no upsets tomorrow (3 playoff teams against 3 non-playoff teams) - Middle Creek over Lee County, Apex over Cary, Athens Drive over Panther Creek - the following is the seedings:

1) & 2) Green Hope and Middle Creek flip a coin
3) Apex
4) & 5) Athens Drive and Fuquay Varina flip a coin

The most likely upset scenarios are -
1) Panther Creek over Athens Drive (PC at home, AD played today, needs to conserve pitching for state playoffs)
2) Lee County over Middle Creek (LC at home, but MC may want to conserve pitching for state playoffs)
3) Cary over Apex (Apex at home, Cary played today so used up pitching, but Apex also has to conserve for state playoffs)

If only upset #1 happens (Panther Creek over Athens Drive) - then the following is the seedings:
1) Middle Creek (conference tie breaker)
2) Green Hope
3) Apex
4) Fuquay Varina
5) Athens Drive

If only upset #2 happens (Lee County over Middle Creek) - then the following is the seedings:
1) Green Hope
2) Middle Creek
3) Apex
4) & 5) Fuquay Varina and Athens Drive flip a coin

If only upset #3 happens (Cary over Apex) - then the following is the seedings:
1) Green Hope (conference tie breaker)

If more than one upset happens, then obviously other scenarios are in place.

1 game playoff is still something that could happen. I wouldnt want t coin toss o decide whether of not I was in, bt seeding is another matter. Play for the berth and flip for the seed.

That would be interesting because I have been told that the first round game for Millbrook has been moved from Friday to Thursday with the opponent being from what was noted above either Fuquay or Athens

It is possible that Athens Drive and Fuquay Varina have agreed to other tie-breaking procedures, Athens Drive would win on anything reasonable. But Green Hope and Middle Creek are flipping a coin, and I believe the same is true for Athens Drive and Fuquay Varina.

Update - the coin tosses (or whatever) went GH (#1) over MC (#2) and AD (#4) over FV (#5).
