    Projected 4A State Playoff Bracket

    First attempt

    These are definitely subject to change with tournaments - especially the wild card slottings as they are put into the bracket by the NCHSAA. Just tried to keep teams from the same conference playing WC games against each other, yet place them on the bracket geographically.

    Please help if the seedings from league play is incorrect.

    CPC #2/#3

    North Davidson and East Rowan will play tonight for the CPC's #2 seed in the State Playoffs. They tied for second in conference play, split with each other during the year, but ER received the #2 seed in the CPC tourney due to the fact that they swept Mt. Tabor and ND split with Tabor. Tonight is the tie breaker for the State Tourney.

    North Davidson will be the #2 seed. They defeated East 2-1 tonight. More later.........

    Yes, barring some major upsets in conference tournaments.

    The wildcards could be eastern teams with better overall records I think... if there are any out there. What Are Independence and South Meck's overall records?

    As I understand it, if Davie Co defeats North Davidson in the CPC tourny final: Davie gets the 2, North 3, East Rowan 4. And Mt Tabor would be the wild card.

    This very easily could happen. Davie is red hot right now. The 10 run ruled Mt Tabor Thursday & beat West Forsyth 13-10 (with Holt on the hill!!).

    Grimsley is the #2 seed from the Metro 4-A since they won the tournament and NW Guilford drops to the #3 seed
