    First time post! Been reading this board since I was in High School, figured it was about time I joined. Anyone have the score of the Providence 1st round game?

    SW4A struggling........

    Maybe they should change the school name to Audrey Kell.

    Can anybody who attended AK or Prov. games give us a summary?

    Or have they again shut their account down?

    Great start to State playoffs.

    Any real upsets?

    The real story, once again, is emerging. Those county boys play ball when it counts.

    Those are some tough first round match ups. Gotta win them down the road but man, seems like these guys meet up 1st or 2nd round every year. Heard Providence lost on a walk off base hit. Looked like Davie held the lead most of the game against AK. East Meck who can swing it at the top got no hit by Roberson. Who threw for Roberson?

    Would like to hear about the games from someone who was there.

    SM last team standing in SW4A. Got a good one lined up Tuesday with Davie.

    Tough 1st round match ups for sure. Bracket is extremely top heavy. I was at the ND-Providence game. Well-played game by both. Freshman E.P. Reece knocked in the winning run with a base hit up the middle in the bottom of the 8th. ND at South Meck on Tuesday night. Davie plays at West Forsyth. Reagan plays at Glenn.

    That would be Parker Johnson (Wake Forest signee) who no-hit East Meck last night. He throws about 88-90 on a regular basis. TC Roberson only has about a half-dozen kids who have signed with D1 program. Pitchers Braxton Davidson (UNC), Keaton Harwood (Clemson), catcher Domonic Camarata (Georgia) plus two more who have signed with UNC-Asheville.

    It didn't surprise me that all three 4A schools (Roberson, AC Reynolds, McDowell) fared well in the first round against schools from the Charlotte area, all three have strong #1 pitchers. This second round coming up on Tuesday, we shall see how these mountain team's #2's perform.
