    who is the 4th seed from the the north piedmont conference for the state playoffs? does anyone know?

    North Piedmont # 4 Seed

    I don't think it's finalized yet, but right now it's West Rowan.

    Standings:
    1. Lake Norman 15-1
    2. East Rowan 14-3
    3. Mooresville 13-4
    4. West Rowan 12-5
    5. Carson 10-7

    Some regular-season games are still left.

    West Rowan is a solid team. There top pitchers would be randy sheperd, Zach Simpson, and dj webb. There a very good ball team. be a tough matchup for whoever has to play them. they swing the bats.

    West Rowan is one of the hottest teams in the state right now. They have won something like 15 out of their last 17 games. They won the Wilmington Spring Break tourney last month. Junior reliever D.J. Webb is getting alot of notice for his hard work on the mound, but the entire staff is tough. Maybe tj21 or another of the North Piedmont guru's can fill you in on their entire pitching staff. Just be advised, they are going to be hard to beat.

    Do you think West Rowan and Fred T. Foard will be a good match up in the first round.

    Foard will have Robert Mckinney on the mound an outstanding junior pitcher that is 8-2 with 138 strikeouts

    Well I'll be glad to offer my 2 cents, keeping in mind thats about all its worth. So here,,,,,,,,,, then again,,,,,,,,, all I'll say is it should be a good game.

    Sorry, I have no dogs in this fight, and may the best team win. I'm neutral, so I'm not giving no scouting reports. I'll just say the NPC (IMO) is the toughest 3A league in the state, so like karlrocket said West is very good and they are battle-tested. If Foard truly has an "ace", and he has a great game, they can beat WR. Anything less than a great game, and WR probably wins.

    The NPC conference is the toughest conference in the state. They way W Rowan is swinging the sticks right now I believe anyone will have a hard time with them. They are dominant right now at the plate and 1-9 can hit it out. There pitching IMO is good but no where near Lake Norman or East Rowan. I also know many of the players on FT Foard and quite honestly think West Rowan wins 8-10 matchups against them however, with McKinney on the mound throwing gas as long as he can throw strikes and mix in some wrinkles should be a good matchup. The key to this game on both sides is walks.....Who has the least should it happen.

    West Rowan can still tie Mooresville for 3rd place if they beat Carson tonight & Mooresville loses to Lake Norman.
