    Alexander Central 2 Freedom 1. Hollifield and Payne combined to throw a spectacular ballgame and the hitting came through when it counted as the Cougars won the first of four critical conference games. Chris Wagner and Matt Byerley came through with critical base hits.

    Drew Newell hits a shot to right center with runners on 1st and 3rd and two outs. Josh Leyshon goes the distance. Yoder looked great pitching - had a solo home run first at bat and another hit to the fence 2nd at bat. Stewart takes the loss in relief.
