Clover slaps Ashbrook 40-21. Clover lead 35-0 at half and threw the Green Wave a bone and let them leave with dignity

    Mitchell 24......McDowell 14

Mitchell's Joe Hoyleman just did everything against a McDowell defense that seemed to not have a clue. Hoyleman ran the ball 24 times for 155 yards, and was 10-for-20 passing, 198 yards and 2 TD's. He absolutely was a nightmare for the Titans' defense.

But the silver lining tonight was, as always, Terrance Kincaid. "Buggy", set the MHS' all-time rushing record as he rushed 23 times for 224 yards.

WBRM described this as disappointing.....I disagree. With the talent we have, this is just pathetic. This game and last week's game with Enka were winnable. I hope our team can get on track, because right now - they've been derailed.

Not one of our finer moments. couldn't run on a d line that averaged about 185 lbs. I have been and am still a big supporter of our coaching staff but they dropped the ball in this one. They should be the ones running sprints at the next practice for their mistakes

Capped off a great night while dedicating the field to the honor of Don Palmer. Palmer Field is the new name of the Home of the Black Knights.

ND off to a 2-0 start!!!
