    besides maybe west caldwell a few years back, Freedom has usally always played a good non conference schedule.When i was in school Freedom played Hickory a couple of years,played east rutherford when they had a decent team and burns had some good teams in the 90s as well.Freedom also played kings mountain back when they made a run for the state 3a title,plus always playing shelby so u can say freedom has never really played a cupcake schedule.

    no i wasnt saying that they ever played a cup cake schedule i just dont see the point in playing a murderers row schedule either. however the tougher schedule does give you experience "in battle". i just think a better record makes it a little easier on a good team in the playoffs. but freedom always has a good team so im sure they will do fine as always.
