    9/3 JV WONDERS 40, Thomasville 7
    Thomasville was just completely outmanned in numbers and talent. K-town was up 20-0 in the first quarter.

    QB Damien Washington scored twice on runs in the first. One on a 21 yd. run and the other was good for 42 yds. He also completed a 25 yd. TD pass to Terrance Knox. They also had a 2pt. conversion by Kenon Johnson.
    score...20-0 end of 1st quarter.

    In the 2nd quarter...Keenan Medley intercepted a Bulldog pass. Demetrius Jackson scored from the 12 yd. line.
    score...26-0 at the half.

    In the third, JP Lott scored on a 29yd. pass from QB Medley. Medley then ran the 2 pt. conversion.
    score...34-0 end of third

    4th quarter QB Washington scored on a 41 yd. run. Thomasville scored on a long pass.

    McDowell defense makes a play on 4th and Goal with less than 30 seconds left. We take over inside the 1 and the QB gets stripped, East falls into the endzone with the ball and celebrates.

    The JV Knights upped their record to 2-0 with a 14-0 shutout at West Meck. Backup QB Drayton Mixson led both touchdown drives in the 2nd quarter, with RB Travon Watts scoring his first touchdown to open the scoring and Mixson connecting with TE Ian Dibble on a deep touchdown pass to round it out.

    The Knights wil go for 3-0 in their first home game next Thursday against Weddington.
