    there is a billboard in gastonia with the two girls carrying the girl who hit the home run.....titled "sportmanship"

    this was an excellent example of putting the love of the game ahead of just winning the game. those players and their coaches should get statues made in their honor rep'n true sportsmanship

    It would be interesting to see, or know, which coaches would and which coaches would not, let the sportsmanship occur. I had a unique opportunity to meet this girl, at the LL world series in portland oregon. she herself was still in disbelief how it went down. she was humble and as happy as a player could be. neat kid.
