    North Stanly/ Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant defeats North Stanly 9 to 1. Garrett Furr picks up the Win for Mount, Charles Ingram takes the loss for North Stanly. Furr pitches all seven, also hits a home run. Mount took control in the first inning scoring five, North looked very young, making several errors. Ethan Austin came in relief for North Stanly but Mount tagged him also. Mount looked like they were in mid season form. They really hit the ball well on these two pitchers. North Stanly also used Adrian Shepard in relief, this kid pitched really well. Mount did not hit this kid like the first two. I believe the Rocky River Conference is going to be very competitive this year. North Stanly plays West Stanly on Tuesday, Mount Pleasant plays JM Robinson on Monday.

Ragsdale started the game with two freshmen pitching the first 3 innings I believe. A junior pitched the 4th & 5th, with Catlin carter pitching the final two. Sorry I don't remember the first thre pitcher's names, and I may not be exactly right about the # of innings for each. Aycock pitched Davis, Sasser, and Price.
-Game 2 at the Impact Invite had Middle Creek over Randleman 8-1.
-Game 3 saw N. Lenoir beat Northern Nash 7-6 in 9 innings.

I think Garrett Furr is just a sophomore. He has power, speed, a good glove, and a good hard fastball............THE WORD IS OUT!!!!!!
