in other USSSA news, the charlotte diamondbacks took the U15 state championship by going 4-0 which includes a win against a state powerhouse, Kernersville Cardinals, 2-1.

In an earlier post you mentioned that GBC had combined with the Kernerville Cardinals? Do you mean some of their players from last season when they were a "state powerhouse" are now playing with the GBC team? Do you know how many moved over?Did all the rest stay with Kernersville or did they regroup...sounds like it has made a difference this year.

 

well, all i know that a few players from kernersville are now playing for greensboro, i dont know excatly how many changed teams. BUT, i do know that kernersville is still a very potent team with some very high quality players and they definitley still are a state powerhouse along with GBC and the d'backs of charlotte.
