    This IMO is a huge blow to the Reynolds program. Art Snead was a true first class coach in the conference. I'm courious as to what are his reasons. I guess we'll know more tomorrow in the paper.

    Man this is a shocker. I agree with you about coach Snead. Although I loved to see McDowell beat Reynolds I have always admired the coaching and personality of Snead. I wonder what lead to this

    It is a huge blow, and just my personal opinion, I don't think that it has anything to do with the school or anything like that. I think that it was for family reasons. Again that is just my opinion and not the facts. He was a real classy guy and ACR really will miss him. He ran a great program and his teams always played with great heart, great attitudes, and were a pleasure to watch.

    With respect to Art, I won't go into detail, but there are some health issues within his family that would cause any of us to take another look at our priorities in life. This decision didn't come suddenly. Agree with everyone that this sets Reynolds back along with the graduation of seniors like Thompson and Worley. Snead was very much like Mike Silver, a great ambassador and fine teacher of the game. Will miss working with him.

    Yes, Andrew those are the "family" reasons I was referring to as well. I am well aware of those issues you speak of and I agree with you about the priorities in life! We appreicate your input on this as well.

    Coach Snead is a great person and I am fortunate to have had the oportunity to coach against him and get to know him. He is a class act and ACR will miss him as will the NW4A. I am sure that the program that he has helped to build will prosper. I know him and he has the program rolling in a good direction. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with him and his family. We are here for you Coach if you need us.

    Any word on Coach Snead's replacement? Summer workouts should be starting up soon. Let us know if you here anything.

    Heard on News 13 that Marlowe would take the head coaching job at Reynolds
