ACR continuation

    You can blame the umps if you want but I was there and from the time it was sprinkling and the plate umpire pulled everyone off to the time the tarp was unfolded and put on...the bottom dropped out. There was no way the plate man could have known what was going to happen. If you recall, it had sprinkled on and off in the 4th and 5th innings too. Did you want the guy to have the field tarped than? It's not PR's fault, it's not ACR's fault...it's nature..can anyone here control the rain? From my vantage point, PR did all they could to get the field ready. The field took on too much water to do anything. The umpires are governed by the state manual and they most likely made their decision based on that.
