Alex Leach commits to ASU

    Alex Leach (Ardrey Kell/South Charlotte Panthers) has committed to play baseball with Coach Pollard at Appalachian State University following his senior season.

    Congratulations to Alex and family.

    I met Alex last year at CBC. He just transferred from Atlanta and I heard a lot about him. At the beginning of the year Alex was injured and struggled a little bit. But as the season went on and he started to get healthy, the Alex Leach I had heard so much about was demonstrating why he had so much buzz about him. Physically he is imposing, but his athletic skills set him apart from others.

    Coach Pollard is stacking up talent again this year, as he gets another outstanding player.
