    2008 Nash Central product Alex Pearce has committed to play for the Braves at UNCP!Alex is a great kid from a fine family and he is very deserving of this opportunity.Coach Paul O'Neil is building an outstanding program there and with Alex he gets an outstanding player who can do so many different things on the field,while bringing his reputation of great character with him.I look forward to watching Alex during his career at UNCP and eating shrimp with his dad!CONGRATS TO ALEX AND ALL OF THE PEARCE FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great kid

    Alex is really a great kid. His hard work has paid off nicely. Hope to share the shrimp with you guys too.

    Congrats to Alex!! Now his dad can keep ALL of his eBay money that his wife Renee didn't know he had....'til now.

    Great kid despite his father. I am extrememly happy for him and his family.

    P.S. Hope he does not pitch against Fike tonight!!!

    Congrats Alex!

    Alex is a great baseball player. He is outstanding behind the plate. He is a very good pitcher and can play multiple posistions very well. He also can swing the stick. UNCP got a heck of a player in Alex Pearce. I wish you the very best the rest of this HS season Alex and good luck at UNCP.
