Any scores or comments anyone can post from the Alexander Central scrimmages?

 

what a great day for softball at central park!!!! weather was perfect and the food was too!!!! ac tied fred t foard 1-1, they beat sun vally and south iredell. the ac jvs played 1 game and beat sun valley. hibriten looked improved . foard looked good on the varsity level.south caldwell has hobbs now and when she gets in the sofball mood they will be fine. west iredell was a surprise, they are very athletic and quick. hpennell will get lots of wins this yr. the leadofff hitter will be a hard out all yr! she would look good in ac pin stripes!!!lol!!!great day and thanks to the ac staff and players for being great hosts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

South Caldwell scrimmaged West Irdell, and FT Ford, West Irdell took the first game against SC, with Whitney Keller starting on the mound, and it being her first ever start needless to say she was a bit nervous and tight, WI scored several runs off Whitney in the 1st couple innings but she improved as the game progressed, overall a good first effort,.
In the second scrimmage SC played FT Foard , with Casey Kneeps pitching SC won 2 to 0
Overall it was a rather pleasing outing for the Spartans, weather and food was great, hats off to Mickey for a job well done....

 

Six for Six

Kendayl Waugh from West Iredell was 6-for-6 on the day, all from the left side of the plate. Great kid off to a super start.

 

West Irdell played really well the entire scrimmage, expect to hear good thing from them the rest of the year....
