I can see that most people are using this thread to keep others informed but it's obvious that some people carry some kind of a grudge and that's ok but you can only bash a coach so much before it gets old and annoying...:scared2:

I guess that's why your not coaching the AC Cougars are you and Coach Comer is........... Big A, hollaback, and playme. I don't think anyone on here has the right to bash Coach Comer because baseball is a game of what if's. And some of the people on this board who critize people can't coach a rec team. Maybe Coach Comer had a feeling about something, but it doesn't matter now because it's all over. You can't change the past, if you could then no one would live the life that they are in now.

    * I hope you people realize that this is an information board and not a trash talking S*** hole. Let's get it straight in here and quit the BS.

How did all of the NW4A conference games go on Monday, 5/10, with AC having a bye, of course?

    NW4A Round 2

All round one scores are posted in the conference tournament forum, winners were Watauga, South Caldwell, and McDowell, so all the top seeds advanced.

    Today's schedule

    McDowell v. Alexander Central (5 or 5:30?)
    South Caldwell v. Watauga (nightcap)

    games at Watauga

McDowell and South are tied for 3rd in the regular season. Since the NW4A only gets 3 in, if both win today the championship determines which of the two get in. If one of the two wins, they're in. If neither wins they must play each other Wednesday, I believe.

What was Watauga's and S. Caldwell's overall record this year?

    WHS/SC records

Not 100% sure, but I believe Watauga was 14-11 and South Caldwell was 16-9. South is extremely young but finished strong with back-to-back shutouts of Alexander and East Burke, followed by a 6-3 win at Watauga in the tournament (with a 14-year-old on the nipple), and a 6-3 loss to Payne and the Cougars in the conference championship. They had a 3-0 lead and chunked it in the sixth with some costly erros, though credit Alexander for taking advantage of the opening with some timely hits from Hall and Orren.

South also shutout Ashbrook 2-0 in late April at South.
