    JV Game

    Any word on the JV game. It was to be played on Monday. Then the Varsity game go moved to Monday and it was scheduled For Saturday. Then it got postponed. When are they going to play? :wtf23:

    Last I heard. JV's at East Burke at 4pm, Varsity at 7:30 at Alexander.Today

    I did...good game, even in the rain.........
    Harper is even better than last year...ACR defense extremely good.....

    JV game rescheduled again

    The JV game has been moved yet again. Now the game will be played in Icard on Monday October 24th. Either that or the third Thursday in the next month with a Y in in it.

    Should be a very good one tonight. Alexander Central and East Burke both need it bad.

    Alexander Central wins but...

    Alexander Central 23
    East Burke 16

    Maybe the worst footballl game in NWC history. The two teams combined for 230 yards in penaltys. AC had 130 and East Burke 100. Personal fouls aplenty. Both these two teams are better coached than what they showed. It was like a RAP record, ugly, and vulgar. Although the Cougars won the game, they can not take much pride in it. A win is a win, but this one was not very satisfying.

    East Burke vs. Alexander Central

    AC 23
    EB 7

    East Burke should have won this game. They were driving to score twice and threw interceptions. Good game. Lots of bad personal fouls mostly on Alexander Central's part. East Burke players retaliated just to defend themselves. A sorry coach that doesn't take his players out of the game when this happens. I guess he instills this conduct in his players. Remember the baseball tournament game that threw them out of the play-offs a couple of years ago. The same ole stuff from this school. But no reprimands. Most coaches immediately take a player off the field for this kind of conduct. Oh well I guess it will never change if they obviously don't see a problem. Maybe they will keep it up and be banned from the play-offs again.

    WOW......lots of penalties, doesn't sound like a fun game to watch. ACR JV's had to deal with the yellow flags as well tonight at Freedom, 14 of them to be exact for 120 yards, compared to 3 for Freedom for 30 yards! Fortunately ACR came out a winner 35-21 but it wasn't fun to watch. Just wondering was the final tonight in Alexander 23-16 or 23-7?

    Funny, they (Alexander Central) didnt get alot of penalties against McDowell when I saw them play. Maybe its just playing East Burke that gets under their skin, but that happens.
