All Conference Players

Just curious what girls made all conference from you areas? How would I find out who made all conference from my DD's team? Is there a site I could check on?

 

In our Conference, we have an agreement between the Coaches and the ADs not to release the names of the All Conference selections until after all teams in our Conference have completed play (including playoffs). Each Coach can release the names of his/her players once their team is done. We usually do this at our Awards Banquet. We all agree (for obvious reasons) not to release the names of selections from teams other than our own as long as there are teams from our Conference who are still playing.

 

By now, all conferences should have held their selection meetings with the head coaches of each team. The NCHSAA mandates that the release and naming of the All Conference selections not be made until each and every team from that conference has been knocked out of the state playoffs. Thus, some conferences will not be able to release their selections until after the state playoffs have concluded.

Each coach has the list of names that were selected to the all conference team from their respective conference. If all teams in the conference have concluded their season, then the coach should be able to tell you if your DD made the team.

Most conferences release this information through a formal press release in the local media, i.e. The Charlotte Observer.
