    Didn't want to take away from Hannahs POY thread, so I started another. Had to give special props to a few girls that have had fine years. Centerfielder Junior Kasey Talley from North Iredell, who I expect to have a BIG year next year and South Iredells Devan Poff, an EXCELLANT outfielder who is playing with the newly formed Piedmont Storm this summer, were both picked as top outfielders in the county. Congrats to some outstanding players whos best days are still ahead


    Also wanted to say Congrats to North Iredells pitcher Heather Nellis who made "honorable mention".....She just happened to play the same position as the POY. Tough Luck on that part but thanks once again for an outstanding career for the Raiders. The "new look" Raiders won't forget you next year for sure.

    Sad to see only one "Raider" on there but pretty much refects the state of affairs at our high school. Hopefully more representation in the not so distant future. Congrats again to all who made it......

    Yes CONGRATS to everyone who made it. I havent read the paper yet...been in Greensboro and going back Monday, but someone did text me and say Talley and Pennell were in it! Congrats to them and everyone else. Keep Raiders strong next yr Riddle...I'll be around for some when I'm not playing, wish I could still play under "NEW COACH". Thanks again for all the fame I guess I would say hahaha. W. Iredell will once be strong again.
