All-Night Tournament

    I went to an all-night 14U tournament last night. It started at 10 pm Fri. and ended at 12:30 pm Sat. It was suppose to have started several hours earlier but was delayed to accommodate SSS HS's graduation in Smithfield. The school needed the parking space.

    How many teams can say they had a game scheduled for 2 am or 4 am?

    It was a little rocky for those who didn't plan well. Quite a few slept in their vehicles during 3-hour rests between some games. Next year, I overheard, the baseball field is going to become tent city with each team having its own space. Or just sleeping bags if they prefer I guess. Next year promises to be much more entertaining!

    The girls for the most part seemed to enjoy it. At least until towards the end.
