Yeah, kinda thought that this one and the coaches one were just put up to kinda stir the pot a little. With both post being the first for their respective members.

although they may just be bored with not much ball being played or being stuck inside because of the weather.

unfortunately, you're probably right, this could go south real fast. lets not let that happen......remember, everyone has the right to their opinion....

but my choice for catcher would be soph taylor jordan, awesome kid, but realitively unknown, except to a few........

OK. If we're going to throw names out. I would vote for Caitlin Sandy, Jack Britt, for 3rd; Jordan Scarboro, Wake Forest-Rolesville, for 2nd. And for 1st I would take a hard look at Brittany Shotwell, Roxboro (she's also a top pitcher).

Why do u always knock a gold team. If u ain't been there don't knock it. You don't even know a d@#$ thing about it. Its for some people and not for all. Great experience, if u have the time and money its worth it. My dd don't regret playing GOLD ball for the travel and experience. There is alot of girls in the state that can play gold level, but choose not to. That is there option and nobody elses. I am for anyone that wants to try it.

P.S Thanks for the vote Mrs Diggety Dog for my DD

Breanna Andrews, Greenville, SS (... and NCSU newest commitment!), and Olivia Peavey, Jordan Mathews, Pitcher, (...and Cocoa Beach, Brevard JC) are two seniors who would definitely be highly considered. JMO

***Nice thread if we can all get along without slinin snot****:fish:

I was not knocking Gold, just asking a mere question ? Sounds like you're being defensive to me bout this subject. I could care less, don't have a dog in the hunt anymore.

Before this post goes to long, lets not forget Tisha Mahon of North Davidson. The only one that can beat her out for the '09 Gatorade State Player of the Year is Chelsea Leonard, IMHO.

I also agree with Ally Blake, I've seen her for three years and she's never had a bad game. This summer at the State games there was one girl that stood out in my memory, was Samantha Melton from Fayetteville Christian, she's a player.
