    The latest word is that the season probably won't start until 2007, as no location can be secured as of yet. It seems no city is equipped to handle the pandemic outbreak of OUTOFBREATHITIS projected to occur if this event were attempted.


    The Federal Government is working on it as we speak. One option they were exploring was having healthy alternates run and field for the elderly players. Then another congressperson suggested perhaps they could bat also. Several government officials were upset to find out this version of baseball exists all over the country and occurs often in the evenings throughout the spring and summer. Al Gore is ademant that he invented it just before he came up with the internet idea.

    Most of the posts so far seem to be joking around with this. I'm curious, is this a joke or is it for real?

    I played in a baseball league (I don't think it was Roy Hobbs) in Charlotte a few years back. I don't think I could do it again :banginghe

    if anyone here is serious, i'll be helping head up a team in one of the charlotte leagues next season. we'll be taking over a team that almost went under, so we have open roster spots and will welcome anyone to come work out with the team and show us what ya got. we hope to start some informal practicing in the next few months. if anyone is interested, pm me and i'll get your info and then i can get back in touch with you when we iron things out.
