    EF-fazball9,

Looking forward to seeing you play. I've heard a lot of good things about you. Maybe even meet your dad. Good luck tonight.

Thanks for the compliments. I should get the start on the mound for the 4th game of the series. I just pitched Monday against High-Point. Good luck to S. Rowan also.

kernersville needs a little warning, ive played against morgan a few times this year, ill agree that standing in the on deck circle looking at him......he doesnt seem too impressive but when u see the man in front of you at the plate swing 2 feet over a morgan curveball that looks like its comin right down the pipe......you start to wonder what hes got.....he doesnt look like much but he gets the job done and those south guys are as pesky as they come.

Congratulations to Kernersville on beating South's Morgan in Game 1. I know K'ville has a good team, but this is a bet that I would've lost. Again congrats and now you're sitting pretty since you've gotten by South's ace.

As for Kannapolis/Greensboro, all I can say is wow, what a pitcher's duel. Kann's Zach Ward and G'boro's Matt McSwain both hooked up in an old-fashioned "sittem-down" pitcher's duel. Very few hits and hardly no walks in this game, but a sh**load of "K's". Greensboro gets a break early when a Kann outfielder misplayed a linedrive and G'boro takes an early 2-0 lead, but then Kann scores 3 times with 2 outs in bottom of 9th for the win. Congrats to both teams and gotta feeling this is going to be a great series. Kann leads 1-0.

    Wed.7/9: Eastern Randolph-7 over Rowan County-6 (11 innings) E.Randolph leads this series 1-0.

    Games scheduled for Thurs.7/10:
Kannapolis (20-6) at Greensboro, Kann leads series 1-0
    Kernersville(17-6) at South Rowan(14-10), K'ville leads series 1-0
    Eastern Randolph(19-4) at Rowan County(16-10), E.Rand.leads series 1-0
    Burlington at Mocksville, game 1

Btw, can anyone tell me where Matt McSwain played this past spring, what school and how old? I was really impressed with him last night in Ktown. Both McSwain and Ktown's Zach Ward pitched well last night and neither deserved to lose.
