    Concord 3 @ Kannapolis 2 - Concord leads series 2-1 over Kannapolis.
    Lexington 5 @ Mocksville 1 Lexington wins series 3-1 over Mocksville.

    Rowan Co. wins series 3-1 over Wilkes Co. - Disqualified
    Stanly Co. wins series 3-1 over Mooresville.

    Post 337 fan,,,, you need to change the wording on your post. The Lexington series is over, they won it 3 games to 1.

    2nd Round....

    So the winner of the Concord and Kannapolis series will play Stanly. But Lexington gets a free ride? I dont think thats fair. Maybe Wilkes should play them.

    Lexington would prefer to be playing, whether it was Rowan or Wilkes or whomever. Legion ball is not about sitting around for a week because of a technicality. Win, lose or draw, our kids were disappointed.

    Does Wilkes even have the option of playing in the 2nd round or does Lexington just get the free pass?

    No option since the decision was made after Wilkes was eliminated. If it had ocurred the day before, Wilkes would have advanced.

    Concord wins game 4....6-5 in 8 innings......series tied at 2 games apiece...gametime in Kannapolis is 9 pm...winner plays Stanley...

    BTW...Kannapolis won game 3 on protest...Keese(Concord) pitched over the limit of innings pitched in game 3....
