Another rule that doesn't make sense. I read in the Salisbury Post that if Rowan County and Mocksville can't play their game Monday. Both teams receive a loss. I hope it doesn't rain it out. :scared2:

    Rowan/Mocksville game...

Boxman, actually "ALL" regular season games were supposed to be completed by July 3. Rowan and Mocksville have been given until Monday July 5 because of all the recent rain. However, yes if they are unable to play on Monday, then technically it will count as a loss for both teams. Afterall, a line must be drawn somewhere and you obviously can't give one of the teams a win if they can't play this game. Therefore, if they are unable to play, then Kannapolis would finish in 1st place, followed by Mocksville, then Rowan.

On the other hand, both teams have a lot to gain by playing this game. Mocksville can jump over Kannapolis with a win,,,,, and while a Rowan win would give the league title to Kann, a Rowan win moves RC to the #2 seed over Mocksville too which could help later with homefield advantage in the playoffs, if the 2 should meet again.

Final Regular Season score from Mocksville....

Rowan County-14 over Mocksville-4 (7 inning mercy rule)

This final score makes the top 3 positions in the Southern Division as follows:
    1- Kannapolis 12-4
2- Rowan County 11-5 (by virtue of sweeping Mocksville during reg.sea.)
    3- Mocksville 11-5

....now lets get ready for the playoffs.
