Alberto Tunuda or however he spells it is so fun to watch. He's not gifted with speed, nor is he extremely athletic, but what he is....is a player. With a very high baseball IQ. He can look terrible on one pitch, so the pitcher throws it again...too bad, as Alberto lines a shot to left field. As Coach Clewis stated, he plays by instincts..has absolutely no fear. And don't believe the reports that he knows no english. He knows the words that he likes...like "Good job, Alberto" or "We need a hit"

Yep...I agree Red Bear. That Pineville team is loaded and are on a mission. Our teams are just bumps on their road

    Taylorsville at Charlotte rained out

At about 7:10 we got the lightning and thunder, then at 7:15 the sky empied. It rained hard for thirty minutes. When it quit the infield looked like a lake. The two teams will try again at Myers Park's Jack Sink field at 7:00 tomorrow night.

Taylorsville had runners at second and third with one out in the top of the first, but I guess that gets washed away.

    Pineville vs Hickory Rained out

Pineville vs Hickory rained out tonight...will play a double header tomorrow. 1st game will be 1:30 @ South Meck....2nd game will be 7:00 @ Hickory.

Braves...let's not try any of that reverse psychology stuff....there are a lot of good teams in the playoffs. Pineville must stay focused and play their game.

Caldwell and Steel Creek was ugly
I think the final score was Caldwell 24 Steel Creek 3.
Steel Creek didn't score till the last inning
