    Hickory played a hard fought game against Pineville when in the top of the 9th Hickory had the bases loaded but then Pineville turned a double play to end the game!

    The losing pitcher was actually Scott Brewer, who pitched seven strong innings but got no support. Calvin Teague struck out 12 and walked four, scattering six hits. You'd think our guys had never seen a curveball. Charlotte made a couple key errors, and Taylorsville didn't crush the ball the way they had the night before. But it was more than enough, as Charlotte stranded the bases loaded in the seventh and left two in the eighth.

    Charlotte.. 1 6 3
    Taylorsville 5 9 0

    Jordan Cudney gets the ball for Charlotte tonight, as Post 262 tries to avoid the sweep.

    Anyone heard any score from the first game of the DH scheduled today between Henderson/Denver. It looks like storms are brewing for tonight up toward the Henderson way again tonight. Where was the first game of the DH today and where was the second game of the DH to be played today?
