I've not heard anything in Kannapolis about any realignment, and as far as I know most of the legion schedules are in the process of being completed anytime now, so you should know very soon who your team will be playing. I'm assuming we will be facing the same teams in the Southern Division of Area 3. The only question about our division would be whether Davie County comes up with a 2nd team in addition to Mocksville, and if so I'm not sure whether that new team would be in the South or the North. Sorry couldn't help anymore.

That's great Davie County looking to add another team! Where would they be based and play their games?

No Davie county is not having a second team Lewisville is adding a team which is tacking players from Mocksville There is so many rumors out there have heard Lexington,Mocksville,South Rowan,Yadkinville, Taylorsville and 1 of the Greensboro teams mayl fold,Just rumors. The schedules will not be made until April. If everything stays the same this is what i will project the divisions will be.

    Northern division
    Burlington
    Greensboro #1
    Greensboro #2
    Kernersville
    Winston- Salem
    Mt. Airy
    Lewisville
    Yadkin County
    Asheboro
    Eastern Randolph
    King?

    Southern Division
    Concord
    Kannapolis
    Rowan County
    Mocksville
    South Rowan
    Mooresville
    North Wilkesboro
    Lexington
    Albemarle
    Troy?

pre season favorites should be Rowan County Eastern Randolph, Kannapolis, The Greensboro team with Ragsdale could be tough. The Forsyth county Davie county area will take a couple of years due the new alighnment to accomadate new teams this is why the better teams just get better no competition for these teams. several college coaches i had spoken too claim legion baseball will self destruct until new leadership is into place. The competition is watering down making it less attractive to college coaches.

Homerun4,,, to answer some of your questionmarks or rumors,,,, first of all Troy didn't field a legion team last year,,,, and I seriously doubt that South Rowan is going to fold either (in fact SR should have a great summer).

Could someone give me the numbers of the Kannapolis and Rowan County people so Roxboro Post 138 could possibly schedule them. Post here or call me at 336-599-5591. Would also like to get in touch with someone from Caldwell County. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I dont know the numbers.. but you might have a hard time getting games with these teams... they have players on high school teams that normally go deeper in the playoffs and generally end up playing a week or 2 later than alot of teams.
