It continues to rain, so this is probably washed out...But if Boxman has it right (& he usually does), this is the latest make-up schedule & standings:

    2-Stanly Co 14-4 (6/27 S Rowan 1PM... @Mocksville 7 pm)
    3-Lexington 15-5
    4-Rowan 13-6 (6/27 @Statesville 6PM with location to be determined today)
    5-Mocksville 11-7 (6/27 Stanly Co 7PM...6/28 @Concord 3PM)
    6-SOUTH ROWAN 9-9 (6/27 @Stanly 1PM...6/27 @Mooresville 7PM)
    7-CONCORD 8-10 (Mocksville 3PM...Montgomery 7PM)

    South Rowan at Stanly County

Don't know whether they'll play today or tomorrow, but was told this game has been switched to South Rowan because Stanly's dirt infield is simply under water and there's good fishing around 2nd base.

Braves, did you hear that? Sounds like time for another TBR fishing tournament the next few days...:fishing:

The top 2 teams in the state will square off tonight, the pineville vs. gaston game has been changed from 3:30 to 7pm at EAST GASTON HS, not south point

Uh, I'm going to have to see how the playoffs roll to believe those rankings. I'm a-thinking that Kannapolis is going to have something to say about who is #1. And I'm ignorant of the Eastern teams...but they usually show up big at tournament time.

All Area III games were canceled today...no word yet on when they will play. I would think tomorrow.

Any news on the Area III games for today and playoff scenerios? I really think they should push the playoffs back a day. If not, some teams would have to play two today (very meaningful games for some) then start the playoffs tomorrow. Not really fair in my opinion, even though it would benefit my Lexington boys. Any news on the North division? I would assume that they are in the same boat as the South. Any decision about the playoffs would have to take both into account.
